In a way it's fascinating. My father lives in a region of many cane plantations. A very common landscape. But the flowers make a beautiful effect, bright with sunshine ... swaying in the wind.

Dear friend, thank you for your appreciation.

Always a pleasure, dear Mayumi! :rose:
I have memories from childhood with places like that. We do not have large landscapes with canes here, but every time we were going to play football in the middle of nowhere and there were wild canes, I was always running off to gather some of them, always bringing home so many (for the desperation of my father who always was displeased). I still have this habit, I still gather them from whenever I see them! :D But now, of course, first I photograph them! ;P

Yes, they are similar. This photo was taken during a road trip. We pass next to a plantation of sugarcane and my husband didn't want to stop (hazardous location, etc ...). Me and my daughter: "But they were so beautiful!" (laughs). Luckily, later on there was another plantation and he "needed" stop.
